When a relationship comes to an end, there can be plenty of feelings left unresolved.
One man from Australia recently went through a break-up and decided to vent his feelings in a scathing Facebook post.
But not just any old post – the unnamed man shared an advert on a a buy, swap and sell group for his ex-girlfriend’s fake Jimmy Choo handbag.
He listed the bag on the site for just $20 and wrote a detailed ad listing the similarities between his former partner and the item, reports news.com.au.
The post read: “Selling my ex-girlfriend’s fake Jimmy Choo handbag. It matched her persona quite well, fake and leathery, what with her excessive tanning and surgically enhanced chest.
“At first glance they both looked like the real deal, but once you looked closely, it becomes apparent there were traits that aren’t all that nice, and bits that aren’t quite in the right place and a strange smell (GF, not the bag, it smells great).”
It goes on to brutally state that the bag is empty “much like her soul” and adds that no matter how much you wish it might be real, it’s nothing more than a “cheap imitation”.
The post went viral and many who saw it applauded the man as they found it amusing.
One person branded it the “best sale post ever” and in no time the bag was sold.
Someone else commented: “Brilliant! Plenty more real ‘bags’ out there.”
A third replied: “That’s the best thing I’ve read all week!”
“I think you’re a bit like the bag too – you’re blue, but you’ve got a handle on it,” wrote a fourth.
A different user wasn’t too impressed with the post though, and told the seller: “Stop buying your girl cheap gifts, what do you expect.”
He responded, telling the commenter that his ex came with the “baggage” from a previous relationship.
Ouch! We definitely wouldn’t want to do anything to get on this guy’s bad side…
